Private Lessons

Sessions are hands-on and the goal is for you the owner to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully train with your dog. Rate of progress is in your control.

‘Balanced Beginnings’ Package

A great way to get started with training in a 1-on-1 setting with individualized attention and topics. Appropriate to cover the basics.

    • basic foundation / basic obedience

    • leash walking / leash manners

    • crate training

    • general manners (in the house, in the car, etc)

    • addressing mild problem or nuisance behaviors

  • With Dina or with Evan

    • 1-dog: $560 for (4) 1-hour in-person lessons at our Training Studio

    • 2-dogs: $840 for (4) 90-min in-person lessons at our Training Studio

    **Note: must be completed within 2 months (60 days) from date of first lesson

  • Offered by appointment

    • Mon to Thu 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm

    • Sun 10 am to 6 pm

Private Lesson FAQs

  • Yes! We encourage all pet-parents to participate to maximize our lesson time together. We want all involved to ask questions, learn the skills, and be a part of the learning experience!

  • Recommended scheduling is approximately every 2 weeks. We want to maintain momentum, while allowing enough time to practice and implement the teachings.

  • It depends! Rate of progress is in your control — dedicated owners who put in the time between lessons to practice and implement the teachings often experience significant progress within the first several lessons.

    But, there are no magic wands here, so patience and consistency are key.

    Habits (good and bad) aren’t formed overnight!

  • That’s totally fine — everyone’s starting point is different, as are their training goals. The beauty of Private Lessons is that the content and pace are tailored to you and your dog.

    Whether it’s leash pulling or leash reactivity, our training team has the expertise to help.

  • Additional single-lessons can be added on!

    Many clients also enroll in our Day School or other training to keep growing with their dog.
